The Waynesboro church of Christ completed another successful year. We have accomplished the mission the God had for us. We have added a few new faces to the congregation. We have added a new minister and secretary to the staff. The congregation took a leap of faith in adding Mitchell to the congregation which has tremendously blessed the congregation. Jessica is learning the job and is a great and friendly representative for the congregation. We are incredibly blessed to have both of these talented individuals on staff.

The eldership has come to together nicely. We have six highly qualified men overseeing the congregation. We are blessed to have elders that have peace with one another. It is truly a gift from the Lord to have shepherds that have hearts dedicated to the Lord’s church. Many congregations do not have elders, and some congregations have warring elders, but at Waynesboro we have godly elders. Everyday we should consider ourselves blessed to have these men guiding the congregation.

This past week we had a special contribution. We had a grand total of 17,470 dollars given to the congregation. It seems every year will suppose the budget goals for the church. This giving is an indication of the dedication and support of the members. It speaks loud to the commitment of the congregation. We are taking seriously the call of God to reach out to this community. It is an encouragement to the elders, the ministers, and everyone that we are happy and fulfilled spiritually with the congregation. Everyone should be pleased with what was given to the church.

We are incredibly blessed to be members of the Waynesboro church of Christ. Some congregations are in turmoil, other congregations are in decline, the Waynesboro congregation is growing in Christ. Thank you for another successful year.
