We had a great announcement on Sunday Morning. The congregation was proud to learn that Mitchell Skelton will be coming on to work as the Family Life Minister. This will be a part-time position. Nothing will change within the congregation, except improvement and soul development. He will emphasize growing faith in our young people. Mitchell is incredibly talented with a passion for souls. This is a man that we need. He will be spending the majority of his time developing and working ministries to families within and without of the congregation.

Also, Mitchell will be helping to maximize the use of the fellowship center. He will be using the building to reach out into the community. He will be accomplishing this through after-school programs and community events. Plus, we will have the honor of hearing Mitchell preach twice a month on a regular basis, and will fill in for me any time that I am gone. Having Mitchell come and be part of the family at the Waynesboro church of Christ will certainly open new doors for ministry for everyone in the congregation. We are blessed to have Mitchell come on and work with the congregation.

Personally, I am thankful for Mitchell coming to be part of the congregational family. I am excited for the possibilities that he brings to the table. I am sure that through his good work we will continue to grow the Kingdom of God. I look forward to working with Mitchell for years to come.

Mitchell is an added bonus to a great team at the congregation. We have wonderful deacons and elders, and by adding Mitchell, we are making the congregation a better place. At the Waynesboro church of Christ, we are focused on fulfilling the great commission of Christ.
