We are excited at the Waynesboro church of Christ to introduce a new class for new Christians, new converts, and newcomers. This class is going to be a blessing to everyone who comes. This class is going to be taught by one of the best teachers in the congregation. Terry Bryant has the ability and knowledge to connect and impart spiritual truths to newcomers to Christianity. The class will be taught in the library during the 9:00 am Bible study hour. It will be an eight week class.
People in the congregation are excited already. The elders are excited about helping people grow in Christ. A lot of members have expressed a desire to be in this class for the enrichment that they will receive. If you are newer to Christianity or exploring the Christian faith, this is the perfect class for you. It will be taught simply and clearly.
Some of the great topics will include: the sacrifice of Jesus, the plan of salvation, the importance of the church, worship in the church, church government—meeting the deacons and elders, the Lord’s Supper, the programs of the congregation, evangelism basics. These topics will greatly increase your faith and understanding of the doctrines and nature of Jesus and His church.
Everyone who feels that this class would be beneficial to their faith is invited to come. We want you there, but more important, God wants you there. Do not miss this opportunity to be part of this ground breaking class. On February 4th, be at the Waynesboro church of Christ to learn about the basics of Christianity. You will not regret coming, ultimately this class may save your soul. Romans 10:17 talks about the importance of studying the Gospel: “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”
