Van Cole Crews died on Saturday, September 9, 2006. Van was a wonderful man. He was a father to David Allen and Tony and a husband to Betty. The item that impresses me the most about Van was that he was a carpenter. I guess this touches me because my father is a carpenter. All throughout Waynesboro you can see the impact of Van’s life in the homes around us. Van has left his mark on the world. But more important than leaving his mark on physical structures, Van has left his mark on our lives. Van will never be forgotten. His style, his laugh, his smile, and his personality will live on with those who loved him.
